ASTM D8584-24 - Standard Guide for Testing of Preformed Thermoplastic Pavement Marking Material in the Laboratory and Installed Preformed Thermoplastic Pavement Markings in the Field

1.1 In this guide, the user is informed which chemical and physical properties of preformed thermoplastic pavement markings are appropriate to be evaluated in the laboratory for determining quality and consistency with the appropriate sampling, sample preparation, and test methods to be used to make these evaluations.

1.2 In this guide, the user is informed which properties of installed, in-service preformed thermoplastic pavement markings are appropriate to evaluate with relevant test methods and sampling protocols.
