1.1 This specification is intended for a broad scope of measurement systems used in making acoustical measurements in accordance with ASTM standards and guides.
1.1.1 The specification in its current iteration includes the specification for the tapping machine.
1.1.2 This specification does not include specifications for systems to measure sound levels as defined in Specification E3091.
