DESCRIPTION

1.1 This specification establishes requirements and test methods for pressure rated polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) piping system components made to NPS 1/2- 6 (Schedule 80), and metric Nominal Diameter (DN) 15 - 300 (SDR 11, 21, and 33). The pressure rated systems are intended for water and chemical service, including corrosive process fluids. Water service includes high purity process water, potable water, industrial process water, industrial process wastewater, and chemical wastewater.

1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard.

1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
