This International Standard lays down the terminology of circular screwing dies intended for production of threads to ISO Standards, and gives the cor-responding terms in the three official ISO languages.

NOTE – In addition to terms used in the three official ISO languages (English, French and Russian), this International Standard gives the equivalent terms in the German, Italian and Dutch languages; these terms are included at the request of Technical Committee ISO/TC 29, and are published under the responsibility of the member bodies for Germany, F.R.
