This standard BS 8298-3:2020 Design and installation of natural stone cladding and lining is classified in these ICS categories:

This part of BS 8298 gives recommendations for the design, installation and maintenance of natural stone directly attached to precast concrete units (i.e. stone-faced concrete cladding units as defined in BS 8297).

It is not applicable to loadbearing stones or stones held only by adhesion or to any type of stonework supported or held in position around the perimeter of stones or series of stones by metal framing.
