This European Standard applies to hydraulic dampers and their end mountings used on rail vehicles. The dampers covered in this standard include:

• dampers that control the dynamic behaviour of a vehicle:

  • yaw dampers;

  • roll dampers;

  • inter-vehicles dampers.
