BS G 240:1988

This standard BS G 240:1988 Specification for pressure transducers for use on aircraft is classified in these ICS categories:
  • 49.090 On-board equipment and instruments

This British Standard specifies requirements for pressure transducers used in aircraft pressure systems, to convert a fluid pressure into an electrical signal for transmission to aircraft indicators or systems. It is applicable to transducers capable of measuring gauge, absolute or differential pressure, that have an accuracy in the range 0.25 % to 2.0 % of full scale output at reference conditions, and are capable of working over the ambient temperature range − 54 °C to + 85 °C.

NOTE The titles of the publications referred to in this standard are listed on the inside back cover.

Specifies requirements for transducers used in pressure systems, that convert a fluid pressure into an electrical signal for transmission to aircraft indicators or systems, embracing gauge, absolute and differential pressure units.
