CSN EN 61300-3-49 Norma popisuje měření záchytné síly vodicího kolíku pro mnohovláknové konektory s pravoúhlou ferulí, a to pro konektory typu MPO, Mini-MPO a MT-RJ. Jsou uvedeny požadavky na měřicí aparaturu a jsou podrobně popsány dvě měřicí metody. Při metodě A se měří pomocí závaží, při metodě B je použit tažný zkušební stroj. Dále jsou specifikovány údaje, které se mají uvádět v protokolu o zkoušce.
