CSN ETS 300 323-5 ed. 2 This European Telecommunication Standard (ETS) specifies the Fixed radio Termination (FT) Abstract Test Suite (ATS) for the Digital European Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) Public Access Profile (PAP) test specification. The ATS describes a set of tests which can be converted using commonly available tools into an executable test suite. For the protocol tests, it consists of TTCN tables comprising an overview section, a declarations section, a constraints section and a dynamic behaviour section. For the non-protocol tests (real-effects), it describes the test method using natural language. The real effects test procedures are contained in ETS 300 323-1 [5] Annex C. The Protocol Implementation Conformance Statement (PICS) proforma shows a checklist of all mandatory, optional and conditional features, elements of procedure, parameters, options, timers, multi-layer dependencies and other capabilities identified in the protocol specification. Once completed by the manufacturer, this shows which parts of the PAP static conformance requirements the manufacturer has implemented. The Protocol Implementation eXtra Information for Testing (PIXIT) proforma is a questionnaire for the manufacturer to complete showing all the detailed information required by the test laboratory, for example, methods of feature invocation, real timer values and identities.
