IEC 63000:2016 Technical documentation for the assessment of electrical and electronic products with respect to the restriction of hazardous substances - This International Standard specifies the technical documentation that the manufacturer needs to compile in order to declare compliance with the applicable substance restrictions. The documentation of the manufacturer’s management system is outside the scope of this European Standard.

Commission and the European Free Trade Association, and supports essential requirements
of EU Directive 2011/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 8 June 2011 on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
