DESCRIPTION
IEEE 1900.6-2011/Cor 1-2015
This standard defines the information exchange between spectrum sensors and their clients in radio communication systems. The logical interface and supporting data structures used for information exchange are defined abstractly without constraining the sensing technology, client design, or data link between the sensor and client. The purpose of this standard is to define spectrum sensing interfaces and data structures for dynamic spectrum access (DSA) and other advanced radio communications systems that will facilitate interoperability between independently developed devices and thus allow for separate evolution of spectrum sensors and other system functions.
Corrigendum Standard - Inactive-Reserved. Terms and definitions are modified in this corrigendum to IEEE Std 1900.6(TM)-2011, in response to comments received during the approval process of IEEE Std 1900.1a(TM)-2012 and IEEE Std 1900.6a(TM)-2014, which could not be considered in the 1900.6a amendment. The use of terms and definitions in IEEE Std 1900.6 are aligned by these corrections, with their use in the scope of IEEE Std 1900.1.
