IEEE 2861.4-2023

This standard specifies the game voice data capturing, voice processing, voice signal sampling, and game voice optimization algorithm for mobile gaming. Furthermore, this standard defines a game voice mode that provides noise suppression, automatic gain, echo cancellation, and other voice data processing algorithms.

The purpose of this standard is to improve the user experience of mobile gaming when the user implements the game voice.

New IEEE Standard - Active. Based on the voice mode of mobile intelligent terminals, technical requirements for mobile terminal game voice in terms of game voice sampling rate, number of channels, and upstream and downstream audio signal processing procedures are proposed by this standard.
