Amendment Standard - Active. Modifications to both the IEEE 802.11 physical layer (PHY) and medium access control (MAC) sublayer for high-efficiency operation in frequency bands between 1 GHz and 7.125 GHz are defined in this amendment to IEEE Std 802.11-2020.
