1.) Remove references to "dummy elements" in 6.2.4 and 6.2.5.2. (They are non-existent in low-voltage equipment.) Replace with text similar to that found in C37.51-1989, 4.7 and 4.8. 2.) Table 10 contains "square centimeters" in the title, but the table units are in square inches. Correct table to square centimeters.

The purpose of this project is to correct errors in C37.20.1-2002 with respect to dummy elements and metrification of Table 10.

Amendment Standard - Superseded. This amendment revises IEEE Std C37.20.1-2002. Use of “dummy elements,” previously allowed for short-circuit tests in 6.2.4 and 6.2.5.2, is eliminated. Errors made in converting areas in Table 10 to metric units are corrected.
